A very sticky morning making papyrus paper

This morning, to finish our fabulous topic about Ancient Egyptians, we made a modern day version of papyrus! The children started by measuring and cutting strips of paper, then applied a mixture of glue and water to the strips before laying them down horizontally then vertically.

We had so much fun despite getting very sticky!
