Decimals in Mumbai!

This morning, we used our Now Press Play headphones to work through and revise our understanding of decimals. We found ourselves in Mumbai amidst some chaos! The children had to solve problems, calculate and work out hidden messages using their knowledge of decimals. They needed to round decimals to the nearest hundredth, add decimals, compare decimals, multiply and divide by 10 and 100 as well as working out decimal complements to 1!

We had only planned to do the first episode but it left us on such a cliff hanger, Mrs Cox was persuaded to re-jig the morning so that we could find out what happened next in the story!

It was a great morning working through the story, solving the mathematical calculations and saving the day!
