Tremendous Timelines

This afternoon, we continued our look into how different inventions have shaped the world that we live in. A challenge was set for the children to place different inventions from the last 100 years onto a timeline in chronological order. Without knowing the years, we asked the groups to think about when they thought the invention had been invented, what year they thought it had been invented and if the invention linked with another on the timeline.

It was great to see each group working cooperatively to discuss and place the inventions onto the timeline! It also gave us the chance to discuss how certain items were invented more recently or further back than we had previously thought.
