National Storytelling Week

This week has been an exciting and creative journey as we immersed ourselves in the magical world of stories during National Storytelling Week! Our aim was to inspire a love for storytelling, and we kicked off the week with a fabulous assembly that left everyone buzzing with enthusiasm.

We discovered a whole new way to bring stories to life by learning about a unique kind of storyteller – rappers! Yes, you read that right. Our school turned into a bunch of mini-rappers as we wrapped our way through the classic tale of Incy Wincy Spider.

But that's not all! Our woodland workshop turned into a haven for story lovers during lunchtime. We were visited by some special guests – story characters who came alive to read their tales that captivated our imaginations. 

One of the highlights of the week was our story-sharing session with the Year 4 students. We really enjoyed sharing stories with them and hope to do it again sometime soon!
