Community

This week in PSHE, we explored the concept of community and what it means to belong to different communities. We began by discussing the various communities we are part of, such as our families, schools, and local neighbourhoods. The conversation then moved on to how people in these communities can support us, especially when we are finding things tricky.

The class worked in pairs, sharing personal stories about times they faced difficulties and how someone from their community helped them. To bring these stories to life, each pair created a freeze frame, capturing the moment they received support. This activity helped us understand how important it is to rely on the people around us when we need help.
