This Week in Year 1

This week in English we have been looking at inferring how a character feels in our story This Is The Bear. We used thought bubbles to express what we thought the characters were feeling based on body language and facial expressions from the illustrations. 

We have also been working on place value this week. This half term we have been learning our numbers to 20. We have used a number line to help us order our numbers, learn one more and one less and confidently locate all the numbers to 20 and improve on our quick recall.
