Strong and stable structures

This week we have been learning about the properties of materials in science. We read The Three Little Pigs and talked about why one house was more successful than the others. We realised that it was made of strong materials. We were tasked with making a house that was strong enough to withstand wind. We then moved on and looked at the importance of waterproof materials when building a house. We needed our roofs to be waterproof. We learnt that plastic and tinfoil were both suitable after our experiment.
