Dinosaur Poems

This week we have been reading a range of dinosaur poems.  In English, children have used sentence stems to complete a dinosaur poem called 'If I were a dinosaur'.  They have imagined what colour and size they would be along with what they would do if they were a dinosaur.  In maths, children have continued to explore ways of representing the numbers 9 and 10.  They have also written words to describe a dinosaur, shared dinosaur books, practised cutting skills to cut along dinosaur lines and cut out dinosaur footprints.  On Wednesday, the children were very excited to welcome some of their grown-ups into their classroom and the outside garden!
