Christmas!

This week the children have been thinking about Christmas!  They were excited to come into school on Monday to see so many decorations.  They even helped to decorate their class Christmas tree!  They have decorated paper Christmas trees using all things sparkly and have used watercolour paints to paint winter tree pictures.  They have cut out and sorted winter and summer pictures into the types of clothes they would wear for each season.  In maths, they have been using their 1:1 counting skills to match amounts to numerals and in English they have continued to learn and orally tell our Christmas story – 'We're going on a Christmas Hunt'.
