The Buddhist Wesak Festival lanterns

This week we have been continuing to learn about the Buddhist faith and looking particularly at Buddhist festival Wesak. Wesak is the most important of the Buddhist festivals as it marks Buddha's birthday and death. The children made Wesak Lanterns as Wesak is a vert colourful and happy celebration and lanterns are let into the sky during the actual festival.
