Saving Mr Horsley's tea!

Year 5 put their inquiry skills to the test in a thermal insulation experiment.

The burning question: Which material is best at keeping Mr Horsley's tea warm?

Our investigators tested cups wrapped in tissue paper and foil against a control cup, meticulously recording temperature changes over time. We then analysed our data by creating line graphs.

We found out the tissue paper was the winner, slowing the heat loss over the 30 minutes.

Superb teamwork and scientific curiosity everyone!
