Investigating the Jim Crow Laws

As part of our theme, we have been finding out about what segregation has looked like throughout history and how this has even been law in some countries.

Today, we have learnt about the Jim Crow laws – these were laws which were in place in America for a very long time. We considered some of the laws, thought about how these would have been enforced, how it would have felt to be on the receiving end of these laws and the impact that these would have had.
