Jasper's Bean

This week we listened to the story of Jaspers bean.  In English, the children recalled what Jasper did with his bean each day of the week, then wrote this down using their sound knowledge.  In maths, the children have been subtracting by counting back on a number line.  They have also really enjoyed their red challenge this week, finding clues around the classroom and using their sounds to read words and then colour the correct picture to match. Last week, they enjoyed taking part in our sports morning, taking part in lots of activities and practising lots of skills.
