Balinese Music - Rice Pounding Rhythms and Kecak

In Music, we have been learning about Balinese Music. Today we recapped our work on Rice Pounding Rhythms and used grid notation to present our ideas. We clapped through our compositions.  We then thought about the features of Kecak, which are changes in pitch and incorporating suitable movements, and tried to incorporate these into our composition. We did this by using different sounds for the 'cross' mark, rather than just clapping, and performing a movement when making the sound.
