Paddington’s Perfect Picnic

This term in DT, we have been learning all about healthy eating and developing our spreading skills. Today, we put our learning into practice by making Paddington’s favourite treat, marmalade sandwiches!

We started by carefully spreading butter all over our bread, making sure we covered every corner. Then came the fun (and very sticky!) part, spreading the marmalade. We had to be extra careful to spread it evenly without making too much mess!

After all our hard work, it was time to enjoy the results. We took our sandwiches outside for a picnic in the fresh air, where we could eat, chat, and appreciate the delicious food we had made.

It was a fantastic way to end the lesson, and we all agreed that Paddington would definitely approve of our sandwiches!
