OS Maps

In geography this week, we spent some time learning how to use OS maps! After discussing how to use 4-figure and 6-figure grid references, the children were set the challenge of finding rivers in the UK based on their 4-figure OS (Ordnance Survey) grid reference. This was a fun challenge and the children used Bing Maps OS feature to help them when finding the names of the major rivers.
