Food Chains

This week in Science, we have been exploring food chains in different ecosystems. We learnt lots of new scientific vocabulary, including producer, which is a plant that makes its own food through photosynthesis, and consumer, which is an organism that eats other organisms. We then enjoyed creating our own food chains and showing our new knowledge.  We also worked hard to label our food chains using the correct scientific vocabulary and added arrows to show the direction in which energy is transferred from one organism to another.
