Senses

This week the children have continued to learn all about their five senses.  They have walked outside and used their sense of hearing to talk about all the different sounds from outside.  They have used hearing to listen to different types of music and the drawn patterns to match.  They have used sight to draw flowers from observation, looking at shape and colour.  When using the home corner, the children used the phones to order food from different menus.  They have listened to their friends, used numbers to make a phone call and remembered their friends' food order!  The children have also continued to subitise and match amounts when doing maths. The new train track has also been very popular this week!
