3D Printing!

Today we have become experts on 3D printers! After spending time finding out about the difference between 2D and 3D printing, we learnt about the process of 3D printing from the digital design and how instructions are sent to the printer, the material used instead of ink, to the way the model is printed in additive layers. We saw the whole process in action from start to finish and loved seeing a chocolate bar model printed! During the printing, we were able to ask lots of questions to improve our understanding of the process,  and use this to write our own step-by-step explanations of 3D printing!
