Maya inspired art

Today we have been thinking about Maya art. Lots of their art is based around symbols; in particular, Wayobs which are linked to the days in the Mayan calendar. We thought about our characteristics and selected the one that was most like us. These Wayobs give suggestions about what sort of job we might be suited to when we grow up.

We then thought about other symbols that represent us to create a piece of Maya inspired art. Take a look!
