Chemical reactions!

This term, we have been learning about reversible and irreversible changes in materials.

On Wednesday afternoon, we carried out some scientific experiments to see how we could create the strongest chemical reaction by mixing different solids and liquids together. We tested combinations of sugar, salt, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda, with lemon juice, water, cola and vinegar! Some of us managed some pretty impressive results; we found the mixture of vinegar and bicarbonate of soda to be particularly powerful! We had great fun testing out our hypotheses!
