Group 2 - Afternoon - Caving and Fencing

This afternoon's activities were a nice change of pace and some more new experiences for many of the children.

We began overground, then underground and wobbled-free into the Pioneer Centre's Caving hut. Lots of fun was had here, playing hide and seek in the dark and trying to fit through ever-decreasing spaces.

We followed this up with some fencing (Ronseal joke optional!) and Princess Bride quotes at the ready (for all of you that can remember that one!) Engarde, riposte, lunge, parry - were all new skills and terms that we learnt. But mostly - "My Name Is Inigo Montoya!..."

Some tired, but happy children ready now for some fish and chips and room inspections... what will they be like?!
