Group 3 - High ropes/Archery/Climbing/Caving
This morning, we kicked off with a big breakfast and then took on our first challenge of the day - the high ropes! It was extremely high and rather nerve racking, but we all made Mrs Hodgson proud! We also made daring leaps of faith and had fun competing to build the tallest towers out of crates.
After a snack, we channelled our inner Robin Hoods and practised some archery.
Pizza and garlic bread was a lovely treat for lunch, and then we fearlessly took on the climbing walls. Most of us made it right to the top and some even rang the bell!
In the indoor caving system, we squeezed through lots of tight spaces and tunnels, played some new games and, managed to find our way out again without our instructor’s help!
We’ve all been well fed and are exhausted after another tiring day full of achievements. Mrs H has been particularly impressed by the way this group have supported and encouraged each other; it has been truly heartwarming!
We’re now off to prepare for our room inspections and then play some nice calm games together before bed.
