4TE The Lost Thing

We have been using this term's class English book as a starting point to inspire us to create our own Lost Thing character. We recapped the story and looked at the different Lost Things in the book. Afterwards, we talked about the importance of detail when describing a character to give the reader a really clear picture of what the character is like both in appearance and personality. In Comprehension, we had to first read a description of a fictional character and draw what we thought it looked like based on the description. We then designed our own Lost Thing by writing a detailed description and using this, we were able to bring our character to life using playdoh.
