Staying Safe Online

We have been learning how to stay safe online. We know that many games and videos have pop up ads and have been learning how these can entice us to click on links and ads that we might not otherwise see. We've talked about the difference between card games and board games that we play with family and friends and how these differ to online games. Our comprehension lesson told us about a boy called Alex who fell into the trap of online game adverts. This then linked to our Computing lesson where we played 'Lingo Bingo' where we found out the definitions of online ads. It was a fun way to learn about how to stay safe.
