Expressive line drawing

In art, we have explored expressive line drawing inspired by water and the artist Zaria Forman. The children listened to ocean-themed music and used a range of materials to create artwork, experimenting with different types of lines such as dark and light, thick and thin, wavy and straight. They had to think carefully about colours and how different marks can represent the movement of water. After, for a bit of fun, the children added sea creatures and plants to their art.
