Maths-Column method

In maths the past few weeks,  the children have been learning to use the column method for addition and subtraction. This is a great method to use pelting arithmetic and reasoning questions. The children have been looking at adding and subtracting with exchanges this week and have been very successful at subtracting up to 2 exchanges. I have been very impressed with how hard the children have worked at quickly learning this new method.
