Money Problems!

What a Mathsy Week! On Tuesday, we built on our knowledge of money by learning how to solve puzzles related to it. We began by exploring and noticing patterns in different money problems, asking questions like, "What do I already know?" and "What is this puzzle asking me to find out?" We spent time visualising and representing the puzzles by drawing tables to map out our thinking. Finally, we practised explaining, convincing and proving our answers to our partners, using our organised work and clear reasoning to show why our solutions were correct.
