We have been looking at rounding numbers to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 this week. Using number lines to visualise and then place value to build on our strategies. We challenged ourselves today, by rounding measurements and even working backwards from a given rounded answer to think about possible starting numbers. Impressive maths mastery Yr5!
