Maths - place value

As it is the start of a new year, in Maths, we are looking at recognising numbers up to 100 and understanding what each digit is worth in a 2 and 3 digit number. We have looked at this in a variety of ways; using String beads, base ten equipment and partitioning numbers using part whole models. The children have worked very hard this week and are getting into the new routines of Year 3.
