Into the millions!

Today, in pairs, we played a place value game, where we had to complete little challenges, such as making the ‘largest even number possible’ and the 'smallest number possible'. We used a dice to create our large 7-digit figures. During this lesson, we noticed that the position of particular digits was really important and that placeholders play a vital role in ensuring that our numbers are written correctly.
