Terrific Time Capsules

We have had such a fantastic start to Year 1! It has been wonderful to see the children’s creativity shining through and to begin getting to know all about each of them.

Today we took part in a special activity all about time capsules. Each child drew a picture of themselves and wrote down something they would like to achieve in Year 1 – either in school or outside of school. We then placed these into our class time capsule, which we will open and read together at the end of the year in July.

The children had such thoughtful and exciting ideas and we are already looking forward to seeing how much they have grown and achieved by the time we open the capsule. Although July feels a long way off, we know it will be a very special moment!
