If you go down to the woods!

This week the children have been introduced to our final topic of the year, 'If you go down to the woods'.  They listened to the story of 'The Seasons Tree' and have been finding out about the four seasons that make up a year, talking about what each season is like. They have then written sentences about the summer and winter seasons.  The children have also decorated a tree with a season of their choice, thinking about what colours they would see. The children have also been working hard in their phonic lessons, learning new sounds and writing with them.
