Ahoy, Me Hearties! 🦜💰🏴‍☠️

Today, our Year 1 children became brave pirates as they set off on an exciting adventure in search of buried treasure!

Our adventure began when a mysterious parrot gave us a magical telescope. After saying some special magic words, we were transported to an imaginary pirate ship, where we met Captain Sardine and Pirate Plank!

To become proper pirates, we had to complete some challenges! We sang a pirate song, hopped around on our wooden legs and even walked the plank! After lots of excitement, we finally discovered a mysterious spot marked with an X and uncovered a hidden treasure chest! As a reward for our bravery and hard work, Captain Sardine presented us with three shiny gold coins.

Suddenly, we found ourselves back on the beach, waking up from our adventure... but was it all just a dream?
