Bread tasting!

This morning, we introduced a new DT unit. We have challenged the children to design and make a bread product that looks and tastes great for passengers on board the Titanic.

However, before designing, it is important to test out some breads that are already available in supermarkets! We tasted some white baguette, a vintage cheddar boule, some pitta bread and some brioche burger buns. With each bread, we considered the appearance, the taste and the texture before deciding whether we liked it or not! There were some great descriptions for this! It was definitely a tasty treat!
