Word Classes

Today in English,  we worked on identifying word classes and gave examples of each one. We then worked with a partner and were given two sets of cards. On one set, were the labels: nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositional phrases, expanded noun phrases, articles, conjunctions and pronouns. On the other set of cards were examples of these. We took it in turns to match the correct pairs together. We then played it as a pairs game.
