Planting Up Our School Allotment

Year One had a fantastic afternoon planting lots of different vegetables and flowers in the new raised beds. We were joined by RAIN who have kindly donated all the raised beds, soil, plants and trees to the school, along with removing the old hedges, building the planters and providing super lessons to the children. We are incredibly grateful to them for all their support. We hope this will provide children across the school with lots of opportunities to get outdoors, learn how to grow their own and feel connected to nature. Keep your eyes peeled for all the food and flowers we will be looking after in the coming months.
