Snowball Decimals!

Today in Maths, we had a paper snowball fight! We all had to write a decimal with two decimal places on a scrap piece of paper. We then screwed up the piece of paper and used it in a snowball fight. After we'd thrown them, we had to collect six snowballs on each table and open them up. As a group, we then ordered the numbers by looking at the ones column first, then the tenths column and finally the hundredths columns. We compared the numbers carefully and did a great job of ordering the numbers we found. We repeated this but had to choose numbers that were below the number four and could choose numbers with one and no decimal places. This was tricky as the numbers were close together but we did well.
