Duckling Love!

There has been so much love and excitement in the classroom for our new little fluffy friends today it has been wonderful for us all to be a part of. The children came in and were met with two beautiful ducklings inside the incubator. We knew they needed to be left to warm up and for their feathers to dry out before we moved them to their new home. They began the day as very calm and quiet little friends but by the afternoon, they were very chatty and joining in with our lesson with loud chirping which was very cute. We decided they were ready for a cuddle just before home time and the children were beyond excited to give them one. We talked about how to handle them carefully and safely and how to wash our hands thoroughly afterwards. What an incredible day!
