From Cocoon to Sky!
Miss Wagstaff kindly offered some emperor moth cocoons to classrooms and we jumped at the chance to have them! The children have been fascinated by them, eagerly wondering when they would hatch.
Last week, we were lucky enough to see eight moths hatch before our eyes. We then released them into nature which was a truly wonderful experience for everyone.
Next, we will be caring for moth eggs and waiting for them to hatch into caterpillars- watch this space!
