Chinese New Year!

This week the children have been learning all about 'Chinese New year'.  They have learnt what happens during this festival and how families celebrate.  They have used their phonics knowledge to label some of the animals from the story, they have used cutting and sticking skills to make their own lanterns, created a Chinese dragon, used chopsticks to pick up noodles and ordered numbers on a dragon.  They have also enjoyed dressing up and creating dragon dances.
