Recreating a famous painting

Today, we took on The Getty Museum Challenge. This was a challenge set by the museum during COVID challenging people to recreate famous paintings using their own surroundings, props and resources.

We looked at and explored a range of famous paintings: Girl with a Pearl Earring (Vermeer), The Scream (Munch), The Gleaners (Millet) and a range of others. We then worked in small groups to create our own version of each of the paintings, focussing on using the slider controls and the editing effects to help with recreating the paintings through photography.
