Three Little Pigs House Building

Last week we launched our learning with the much-loved story The Three Little Pigs. To bring the tale to life, the children were challenged to design and build their own houses using straw, sticks and wooden blocks to represent bricks. They eagerly explored which materials might be strongest and why, linking their ideas back to the story.

We were so impressed by their creativity and problem-solving skills. Some children even went a step further by adding thoughtful details such as chimneys to their wooden brick houses. It was a wonderful hands-on introduction that sparked excitement, teamwork and lots of storytelling talk as we began our work around this classic tale.
