Kindness Value Awards

Today we held our Kindness Values Awards led by our Headteacher, Mr Horsley. The hall was prepared with our famous red carpet and lights and was joined by lots of festive decorations courtesy of Mr Cadge!

It was lovely to see how supportive the children were of our award winners and the teachers shared lots of reasons why the chosen children had been selected for the KINDNESS value award.

Mrs Cox and Mrs Matsangou helped to remind us of next term's focus value - Cooperation.

We also said thank you and goodbye to Su from the Kingswood Catering team, who has worked in our kitchen for a number of years.

Furthermore, we said goodbye to Miss Maddock, who having worked as both teacher and SENDCO at our school for nearly 20 years, is moving on to work with encouraging children in their love of music with NMPAT. She has had such a huge impact on thousands of children at Woodland View through the years. We will miss her terribly, but wish her all the best in her new role! Kindly, she even left the children of the school the present of a sensory, weighted toy for cuddling whenever they need time to calm down. Miss Ryan helped to unwrap it...

Well done to all of our KINDNESS value award winners this term.
