Culture Day

What a fantastic day culture day was! This is a day when we get to celebrate the diversity and wide range of cultures in our school. It is also linked to our current curriculum C: culture. It was brilliant to see children embracing and celebrating their own cultures. 

In Year 1, we celebrated the day with a long list of exciting cultural experiences: Aboriginal art with Miss Drake, South African culture with Mrs Wood, Chinese dragon dancing with Miss Sanders and French boules with Mrs Jakeman!

So much fun was had throughout the day and it was so interesting to hear about other cultures. 

Thank you to our lovely parent who also came in and showed us some traditional Italian phrases and gestures!
