Year 2 had an excellent time during maths week last week! Each lesson revolved around the story ‘One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab’ by April and Jeff Sayre. We used images of creatures to represent a number relating to how many legs they have! We created a flip chart to show our understanding and drew the animals with their corresponding number.
