Today, to mark remembrance day, we held our reflection during assembly today. Some of our Year 6 children worked together to create a beautiful film showing the famous poem “In Flanders Fields”. This led into a minutes silence. You can watch the video below if you would like to share in our reflection. The children were fabulous and acknowledged what those who went before us did for us.
We also hope that you spotted our beautiful sewn poppy installation by the school office when you came to parents’ evening this week. These were created by Year 6 during their Conflict theme last half term.
Thank you to all of our school community for supporting the Royal British Legion through the donations your children have given. Our poppy sellers have been blown away by your generosity.
