Today in History Year 2 have been introduced to Florence Nightingale, a famous nurse, who lived during the Victorian Era. Together as a class we learnt how long ago the Victorian Era was and created a large timeline on the classroom carpet. We then plotted some of the key events in Florence Nightingale’s life onto the timeline. We were careful to check the dates on the events to make sure they were in the correct place.
