This morning was so much fun! We all got our hands dirty and created our own clay scupltures based on ancient Roman busts. This lesson follows on from research the children have done based on ancient Roman sculpture and they thought about the previous clay techniques they had used in Year 4.

The children thought carefully about facial features and used cross-hatching and slip to secure features to our portraits.
