Our focus this week in maths has been on place value where we have been looking at numbers up to 10,000. The children worked in partners and small groups; generating 3 and 4 digit numbers then investigating how many different ways they could partition and represent them using base ten, bar models, part whole models, pictorial representations and place value charts.
